Waterford community in mourning as boat tragedy brothers' funeral takes place

The small community of Passage East in Waterford will come together this afternoon for the funeral mass of three brothers who died in a fishing accident.

Paul, Kenny and Shane Bolger - all in their forties - drowned while fishing off Dunmore East in Waterford on Wednesday.

Funeral mass will take place at St. John the Baptist Church in Crook, just outside Passage East, at 1pm.

Local Councillor Pat Fitzgerald says it is still not known what went wrong when their boat capsized.
