IKEA couple tie the knot…in store

A couple have tied the knot in an IKEA store.

Shirley and Berkely Smith first met in the shop in New Jersey eight years ago, and the couple had always agreed if they ever married then the ceremony should take place on the spot where they met.

Speaking to 'Good Morning America', Shirley said: "My daughter had gotten suspended from school so we were in there doing some shopping.

"He was in there. I saw him right when he came in, and I checked his finger to make sure he wasn't married. I followed him for about an hour."

The couple managed to seek permission of IKEA to have their nuptials in the store.
