Mother of Dean Fitzpatrick unable to attend funeral

The mother of Dean Fitzpatrick was unable to attend his funeral this morning.

Fr Eoin McCrystal told the gathered mourners at his funeral mass at the Holy Trinity Church in Donaghmede that Audrey took ill last night.

The 23-year-old father of one - who was stabbed at an apartment on the Malahide Road ten days ago - will be laid to rest afterwards at in Fingal Cemetery.
