Free burgers if you can find a stolen mascot

A McDonald's restaurant will reward someone with 100 Big Macs if their stolen mascot is returned.

The German eatery sent out an appeal on Facebook after their Ronald McDonald statue, which is reported to be worth around £600, was believed to have been stolen by pranksters and upon its return will reward them with a heap load of burgers.

A similar incident happened in 2011 when a Finnish group - who are also known as the Food Liberation Army - stole another Ronald McDonald figure and posted a video on YouTube threatening to execute it.
