Millionaire spends £333k on round of drinks

A British millionaire splashed out £333,000 on one round of champagne.

Charles Shaker shocked his VIP guests at an exclusive bash in Monte Carlo to celebrate the Monaco Grand Prix when 12 waiters appeared carrying nine different sized bottles as well as a golden bucket filled with Armand de Brignac Brut - the Gold Dynastie collection - which weighed over 100lb.

A guest said: "Everyone was dancing, when the music suddenly stopped.We then saw what seemed like a never-ending stream of gold bottles being bought in.The club went crazy. Waiters were pouring champagne for everyone."
