25 arrested in connection with metal theft

25 people have been arrested this week by Gardaí targeting travelling criminals involved in metal theft.

72 searches - 260 checkpoints and 402 targeted patrols were carried out as part of the Europe-wide operation -which began at 7am on Monday.
