Meath granny helps in getting men locked up during break-in
Three men have been arrested and charged after a quick-thinking grandmother locked up thieves as they tried to break into her property.
The drama unfolded for 64-year-old Ann Curtis from Nobber in Co. Meath when she noticed a car acting suspiciously and drive into her back yard.
She drove up to the yard in her own car and saw the three men loading up tools and wheels of a jeep into their car.
She asked them what they were doing and when they started giving her cheek, she quickly reversed her car and managed to get the iron entrance gate locked.
She then went to get help and all three men were arrested.
