Tánaiste asked if Shatter was stopped by gardaí before becoming Minister

An Independent TD has asked the Tánaiste to confirm whether Alan Shatter was stopped and cautioned by gardaí before being appointed Justice Minister.

Mattie McGrath said the issue is relevant given the penalty points quashing issue.
