International child abductions increase, Galway conference to hear

The number of cases of international child abductions and family conflicts are on the rise, according to mediators.

They will today address a conference on the importance of spoken intervention in such cases.

NUI Galway and the UNESCO child family research centre will host the conference on the suitability of mediation from a legal, practical and cultural perspective.
