Three in Limerick court in relation to six-day rape claims

Three men appeared in court yesterday in relation to an investigation into claims that a young mother was beaten and raped while held captive for six days in a Limerick apartment earlier this month.

The woman, who is in her 20s, is understood to have told gardaí she was abducted and bundled into a car by three men while walking home in the city on May 3.
