Coombe ordered to pay €2.9m in damages to boy

A ten-year-old boy, who suffered catastrophic injuries in the minutes after his birth at the Coombe Hospital in Dublin, is to receive damages of more than €2.9m.

Eoin Dunne of Malahide, Co Dublin, has dyskinetic cerebral palsy, is wheelchair dependent and cannot communicate verbally.
