Former Cowen aide hurt in gun attack

A former Fianna Fáil running mate of Brian Cowen has suffered minor injuries after shots were fired while he was leaving home with his family.

Gerard Killally, 42, was in his car with his father and two young sons when a gunman travelling in an Opel Astra opened fire.
