EU migrant workers not taking jobs from nationals, says EC

There is no evidence that migrant workers within the EU are taking jobs from nationals of the country they move to, the European Commission claimed today.

Unveiling plans to ensure governments give migrant workers their full rights as part of the workforce, Employment and Social Affairs Commissioner Laszlo Andor said: “The free movement of workers is a key principle of the EU’s single market.
