Two to appear in court in connection with Dublin armed robbery

The man and woman arrested in connection with an armed raid at a shop in Dublin on Monday night have been charged and are due to appear in court this morning.

A man entered a shop in Blanchardstown on Monday night, armed with a firearm and stole a sum of cash.

Shortly afterwards the man was arrested and the sum of money was recovered.

In a follow-up search at a house in Briarswood, a woman was detained and an imitation firearm was found.

The man and woman have now been charged and will appear before Blanchardstown District Court at 10.30am this morning.
