'Unworkable' abortion bill unlikely to go to Cabinet on Tuesday

The draft abortion bill will not go to Cabinet on Tuesday as planned, according to the Sunday Times.

The newspaper reports that Labour ministers have rejected the legislation and branded it "unworkable" following the inclusion of a plan that would force suicidal women to be assessed by six doctors before being granted a termination.
