Gardaí to review sex abuse allegations against TV presenter O Lubhlai
The Garda Commissioner says he has ordered a review of the Domhnall O Lubhlai case.
The Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Investigation Unit is to examine if there are any outstanding matters that need to be addressed.
It comes after the Rape Crisis Network called for a review of the handling of sexual abuse allegations against the founder of Coláiste na bhFiann, The allegations involve boys.
It is claimed that two opportunities were missed in 1991 and 1998 to prosecute the former TV presenter, who died last month.
Martin Callinan said that if there are any matters outstanding, they will be addressed.
