Gardaí probe fatal Kildare shooting

Gardaí are continuing to investigate the murder of a Dublin man in Co Kildare over the weekend.

Twenty-year-old Jamie Lindsey, who was originally from Finglas, was shot dead near his home in the Coneyboro estate in Athy on Saturday evening.

It is understood the victim was the target of a local drugs gang.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone with any information to come forward.
