Man shot in Athy
A man has been shot in Co Kildare this evening.
Gardaí in Athy are investigating the shooting, which occurred at Coneyboro, Athy, at approximately 8.45pm this evening.
A man in his early 20s was taken to Naas General Hospital, where he is believed to be a serious condition.
A scene has been sealed off pending a full technical examination.
