Eight being questioned regarding suspected dissident activity

Gardaí are continuing to question eight men in Dublin in connection with suspected dissident republican activity.

The men, who range in age from their 20s to their 50s, were arrested yesterday afternoon in a search of a premesis in Clondalkin by the Garda Special Detective Unit.

They a're being held at a number of Dublin garda stations.

No firearms or explosives were recovered in the search.
