The Programme for Government should be renegotiated rather than reviewed, Labour Chief Whip Emmet Stagg said today.
His comments come after the party's
Speaking to Kfm, Deputy Stagg said that a policy change is needed and that a review of the Programme for Government would not go far enough.
"I'd go maybe a bit further," said Deputy Stagg. "I think it's now time to renegotiate the Programme for Government we're halfway through.
"I would say something stronger than reviewed. I think the Labour Party should be insisting on a stronger emphasis on policies that are labour Party policies within that programme with Fine Gael."
