Son of FF TD Sean Fleming to be sentenced following high-speed chase

A TD's son is to be sentenced today for a number of serious motoring offences, arising out of a high-speed chase with gardaí.

Peter Fleming - son of Fianna Fáil TD, Sean Fleming - is due to appear before Limerick District Court later this morning.

The 22-year-old has admitted charges of dangerous driving, drink driving, hit and run, stealing a car, driving without insurance, and, driving without a driver's licence.

At a previous hearing last month, he was remanded in custody for sentencing today.
