Gardaí to take 'slow-burn' action if pay and allowances threatened

The Garda Representative Association has said it will escalate action "incrementally" if its members pay and allowances are threatened.

Rank and file gardaí have already confirmed they will refuse to use their own cars, phones and laptops for official duty from next Friday.
