Gardaí appeal for witnesses to Longford crash

Gardaí are appealing for information following a serious crash which injured seven people in Longford on Thursday.

At around 1.20am, three adults and four children were injured when the car they were travelling in left the road and hit a wall near Ballymahon.

All of the passengers were taken by ambulance to Mullingar Hospital.

A two-year-old boy was seriously injured and has since been removed to Temple St. Hospital.

A female passenger, aged in her 30s, remains in Mullingar Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while all of the other passengers have since been discharged.
