DPP to appeal 'undue leniency' of jail sentence given to rapist O'Brien

The DPP has lodged appeal papers in the office of the Court of Criminal Appeal regarding the case of Patrick O'Brien, it was announced this afternoon.

The application is one of "undue leniency" of the sentence.
