Fifty-year-old man guilty of 13 counts of sex assault in Limerick

A man has been found guilty of 13 counts of sexually assaulting six children, including his son and daughter.

A jury at Limerick Circuit Criminal Court returned unanimous verdicts on all 13 counts, after less than two hours of deliberations.

It followed a week long trial during which the six victims were forced to give evidence.

The 50-year old accused, who said he had "done nothing to them" , was remanded on bail for sentencing on April 23.
