School principals want easing of administration duties

The body representing primary school principals in Ireland is calling on the Government to ease the workload of its members.

The Irish Primary Principals Network believes their administration duties are getting in the way of the actual running of their schools.

The Minister for Education Ruairí Quinn will attend the organisation's annual conference this morning and Larry Fleming, former President of the IPPN, said it is time he addressed the issue.
