A woman jailed for the murder of her policeman husband in the North more than 20 years ago has dropped her appeal against conviction, a court heard today.

A woman jailed for the murder of her policeman husband in the North more than 20 years ago has dropped her appeal against conviction, a court heard today.

However Hazel Stewart, 49, is still challenging a jury’s verdict which found her guilty of the murder of her ex-lover’s wife at the same time.
