O'Connell St reopened after Luas crash

O'Connell Street has re-opened in both directions following an earlier collision involving a car and a Luas.

The Luas and a white Ford Focus were in collision at the junction of Abbey St and O'Connell St in Dublin just after 10am this morning.

Gardaí and Emergency Services remain at the scene.

Five people, including the Luas driver, were taken to hospital as a precaution. None are believed to have suffered serious injuries.
