Emergency services attend Ranelagh blaze

Gardaí and emergency services were attending the scene of a large fire in Ranelagh, Dublin this afternoon.

Eleven units of Dublin Fire Brigade are fighting the flames, which appear to be coming from a local Chinese takeaway.

Pictures posted on Twitter showed the blaze engulfing a local premises.

Various posters identified the premises as homing a local Chinese restaurant.

Gardaí were advising motorists to avoid the area.

Traffic diversions in place between Marlborough Rd & Sallymount Ave, Ranelagh due to fire at a premises on Sandford Rd. Avoid if possible.
