FF urge Govt to drop Property Tax measure

As the Cabinet puts the finishing touches to the Budget, Fianna Fáil is making a last ditch plea to the Government not to introduce a Property Tax next year.

It is expected the tax, which will be based on 0.2% of the value of the home, will come into force next July.
