Anti-eviction campaigners are rallying behind a Westmeath man who said that attempts have been made to evict him from his home.

Andrew Bradshaw arrived home last evening to find all of the locks changed at his house at Beechlawns, Mullingar but has since managed to re-enter the property.

He said that the pressure of making mortgage repayments forced him to go to a sub

prime lender.

The Anti-Eviction Taskforce is now supporting his efforts to stay at the property.
