Anti-eviction campaigners are rallying behind a Westmeath man who said that attempts have been made to evict him from his home.

Gardaí have named the young man who died in a car crash in Westmeath yesterday evening.

Gardaí at Mullingar are appealing for assistance from the public to help trace the whereabouts of 27-year-old Derek Browne, from Beechlawns, Mullingar who is missing since yesterday morning.
