The trial of a man accused of sexually abusing six sisters who were aged as young as nine has heard evidence from a social worker involved with the children.

The 52-year-old accused, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has pleaded not guilty to 62 counts of sexually assaulting the six girls at their home on dates between 1995 and 2005.
