Minister confirms €400m bailout for Department of Health

The Government is to give hundreds of millions of extra money to the Department of Health to deal with overspending, it was confirmed today.

The supplementary budget will be authorised in the coming weeks, despite the Taoiseach insisting for months there would be no bailout for Health Minister James Reilly.
