Gardaí arrest man in connection with dissident republican's funeral

A man has been arrested in connection with the firing of shots at the funeral of dissident republican Alan Ryan in Dublin last September.

The man, who is in in his 40s, was detained in Dublin this afternoon and is being questioned by Gardaí in Lucan.

The arrest is part of an ongoing investigation into the paramilitary style volley over Alan Ryan's tricolour-draped coffin at Grange Abbey Drive in Donaghmede on September 8.
