Taoiseach 'hoping to strengthen ties between Europe and US'

Taoiseach Enda Kenny has added his congratulations to US PresidentBarack Obama on his re-election.

Mr Obama, who visited Dublin and his ancestral home in Moneygall last year, defeated Republican challenger Mitt Romney.
