Catherine Gowing: North Wales police await identification of human remains

Police in North Wales are awaiting the identification of human remains found on the banks of the River Dee on Friday, as part of the investigation into the death of Catherine Gowing.
Yesterday, it was confirmed that remains found in Sealand on Wednesday were those of the missing Irish vet.
She was last seen in CCTV footage leaving Asda Supermarket in Queensferry on the evening of October 12.
Since that time, 46-year-old Clive Sharp has been charged with her murder.
North Wales police yesterday renewed their appeal for information in relation to the case.
