Athlone to host psoriasis awareness event

An event is taking place in Athlone in Co Westmeath today, to provide information for people suffering with psoriasis.

Over 100,000 people in Ireland have the condition which causes the skin to become red, irritated and flaky.

Today's information day, from leading dermatologists , runs from 10am-4pm in the Sheraton Hotel in Athlone.
