Committee to discuss reduction in greenhouse gas emissions

Ireland's targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 2020 will be on the agenda today at a meeting of the Oireachtas committee on the environment.

The committee will also discuss plans to reform local government, including slashing the number of local authorities from 114 to just 31.
