Gardaí launch investigation after shots fired in Drogheda house

Gardaí in Drogheda have launched an investigation after two shots were fired at a house in the town this evening.

The incident took place at approximately 8.40pm on Chord Road.

A car drove up to the house and a person got out and fired two gunshots at the front door.

No one was in the house at the time.

It is understood the car then drove in the direction of Thomas Street.
