Drink driver downed bottle of hand sanitiser

A US woman arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) allegedly she downed a bottle of hand sanitiser before getting in her car.

Jennifer Amanda Wilcox failed a breathalyser test after being pulled over by police in Connecticut when she was spotted driving erratically and spinning her motor.

According to NBC, Jennifer told the officials she drank the hand wash before leaving her house earlier that morning.

She was arrested for driving while intoxicated and is due to appear in court.
