Man remains in custody in connection with Dublin device

A man is his 20s remains in garda custody this morning following the discovery of a suspect device.

Gardaí stopped two men on foot in the Cushlawn Estate area of Tallaght on Saturday evening - one man was arrested while the other fled.

Gardaí alerted the Army Bomb Disposal Team when the arrested man was found with a suspect device.

The device has been taken away for further examination and the man is being held at Tallaght Garda Station.
