Howlin 'very disappointed' following consultant collapse
The Public Expenditure Minister says he is "very disappointed" at the collapse of a deal on work changes for hospital consultants.
Brendan Howlin says it's time for some of the best paid people in the country to deliver on changes and savings.
The coalition is now to go to the Labour Court for binding arbitration on changes that were to deliver savings of €200m.
Minister Howlin says consultants need to step up to the mark.
