Dutch police arrest man in connection with Dublin tiger kidnapping

A man has been arrested in Amsterdam in connection with a tiger kidnapping in Dublin in 2005.

The 49-year-old man was detained under a European Arrest Warrant and flown back to Ireland, where he is being questioned at Raheny Garda Station.

A securicor worker and his family were falsely imprisoned at their family home in Raheny on March 13 and 14, 2005.

The man who has been arrested is due before Dublin District Court tomorrow morning.
