Man in Waterford court following drugs seizure

A man in his 30s is due before Waterford District Court this afternoon, charged in relation to a drugs seizure in the city on Monday.
The 32-year-old was arrested after synthetic, headshop-type drugs worth more than €800,000 were discovered at an apartment complex in Waterford city.
The seizure was a result of the controlled delivery of a parcel, which arrived into Cork airport from China.
Meanwhile, a man is still being questioned by gardaí in Roscommon, over the discovery of a cannabis growhouse.
Around 380 plants were recovered through an intelligence led operation, in which gardaí searched a shed at Athleague at 3.30pm yesterday afternoon.
They are thought to have a street value of around €300,000, subject to analysis.
The man - in his 30s - was arrested at the scene and is being held at Roscommon garda station.
He can be held for up to a week.
