Major haul of headshop-type drugs in Waterford
Gardaí and Revenue officials have seized drugs worth around €800,000 in Waterford City.
The synthetic, headshop-type drugs were retrieved from an apartment complex as part of an intelligence-led operation.
The seizure was a result of the controlled delivery of a parcel which arrived into Cork Airport from China.
A 32-year-old Irish man was arrested and is being detained at Waterford garda station.
