Gardaí in Kerry are investigating an attempted armed raid at a family home in Tralee overnight.

Gardaí in Kerry are investigating an attempted armed raid at a family home in Tralee overnight.

It is believed a masked man tried to break down the door of the house in Balloonagh estate at around 1.30am.
