Costello 'confident' Govt will not break Programme for Government

A Junior Government Minister has said he is confident the Government will be able to find savings of €3.5bn in December's budget without having to break commitments made in its Programme for Government.

Joe Costello's comments come after a Government document to the Troika revealed that the Coalition plans to introduce a raft of tax increases in next year's budget.
