Two seriously hurt in Kerry, Aran Islands walking incidents

Two people are believed to be seriously injured after three people fell in seperate incidents in Kerry and on the Aran islands today.

A man is on his way to Kerry General Hospital after falling on Mount Brandon.

Meanwhile, a team from Kerry Mountain Rescue has gone to the assistance of a fallen walker in the McGillycuddy Reeks.

It is understood the man has fallen down a gulley in the Hag's Glen.

Elsewhere, the Shannon-based rescue helicoptor is currently airlifting an injured woman from the Aran Islands.
