Independent TD Pringle loses court challenge to EU Fiscal Treaty

The Supreme Court has today refused to stop the Government from ratifying the EU Fiscal Treaty.

The challenge against the treaty which provides for a permanent bailout mechanism was brought by Independent TD Thomas Pringle.
